Rise, Shine, and Connect with your Inner Light of Awareness amongst friends during Morning Mouna Meditation. In Sanskrit, the word mouna (roughly translated) means “silence”. Mouna provides us the opportunity to simply watch; to assume the Seat of the SELF...and to observe the activity of the mind without getting involved in it's antics. When we simply observe our thoughts as the SEER...and how they activate our emotions and drive our behavior without getting involved as the participant in our story, eventually the ego mind settles a bit and something else very precious arises; a stillness and illumined awareness that reveals the very nature of the “ONENESS” in everything. As it was said by Sage Pantanjali in Sutras 2 and 3 "Yoga is to the still the fluctuations of the mind. Then, True Awareness can abide in it's natural state."
